Metro Roofing uses plastic cap nails to install the underlayment (Gorilla Guard, 15# felt, or 30# felt). Without proper installation of the underlayement the shingles could crack and deteriorate more quickly. We also use storm guard and 43# base sheet in the valleys to give you full protection.
